Dhamaal 4 Finishes July on Top at ₹132 Crore, and the Franchise Has a New Ceiling

Thirteen days, a second weekend that grew, and a comedy that beat a Nolan epic for the month's crown on the Indian board.

Dhamaal 4 stands at ₹132 crore net after thirteen days, making it the highest-grossing Hindi release of July and the biggest film the franchise has produced in its twenty-year run.

The first week did the heavy lifting at ₹96 crore, already past the ₹94.55 crore opening week Total Dhamaal held as the series record. But the second weekend is the number that impressed the trade: ₹36 crore added after losing every IMAX and large-format screen to The Odyssey from its second Friday.

Against a reported ₹150 crore cost, theatrical recovery now sits close to 90 percent before satellite and streaming rights are counted, which for an ensemble comedy at this budget level is a comfortable position rather than a nervous one.

The runway ahead is clear until Spider-Man: Brand New Day lists on 31 July. Whether Dhamaal 4 gets to ₹150 crore depends entirely on how the coming weekdays hold, but the franchise record is already gone.
