Television runs on TRP points, not viewer counts or box office collections, and India's official ratings body (BARC) has been under a government-mandated suspension since July 2026, pending compliance with the new TV Ratings Policy. We track what's airing, what's trending, and which channel holds the week, citing FMN Ratings in the meantime, and we say plainly where a figure isn't public or has gone stale rather than invent or hide it.
