Yami Gautam has been confirmed for Dhurandhar 2, the sequel to Ranveer Singh's spy thriller that currently sits at the top of our own Movies board with over 1,149 crore tracked. Reports linking Emraan Hashmi to the project as the character Bade Sahab have been specifically dismissed, with the makers keeping most other casting details under wraps while promotion stays focused on Ranveer Singh and the main narrative.
Directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the sequel is positioned as bigger and darker than the original, with the trailer expected in the first week of March ahead of an Eid-adjacent 19 March 2026 release. For Gautam, fresh off her first National Award for Article 370, it's a significant follow-up role in one of the most tracked franchises on the calendar.
