Spider-Man: Brand New Day has crossed 500 crore gross in India, a line no Hollywood film has ever reached in this market before. It got there in eleven days, a pace that outstrips every prior benchmark the genre has set here.

Worldwide, the numbers are just as staggering: a $1.67 billion global cume within twelve days, putting it within range of the all-time top ten highest-grossing films ever made.
