Spider-Man: Brand New Day has crossed 500 crore gross in India, a line no Hollywood film has ever reached in this market before. It got there in eleven days, a pace that outstrips every prior benchmark the genre has set here.

The films it has now passed tell the story of how big this actually is. Avatar: The Way of Water's reported India lifetime gross sat around 477.50 crore. Avengers: Endgame, long treated as the ceiling for what a Hollywood release could do in India, closed near 445 crore. Brand New Day didn't inch past either mark, it went straight through both on its way to a genuinely new number.

The second weekend did the heavy lifting here, not the opening. A 106.7 percent Saturday surge and a strong second Sunday added over 75 crore across two days alone, the kind of hold that usually belongs to a film's first weekend, not its second. Weekday collections have since cooled sharply, as expected, but the record itself isn't going anywhere.

Released across English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada, the film's reach across language versions has clearly mattered as much as its Marvel pedigree. Worldwide, the numbers are just as staggering: a $1.67 billion global cume within twelve days, putting it within range of the all-time top ten highest-grossing films ever made.
