Spider-Man: Brand New Day has crossed 400 crore gross in India after eight days, closing at 334.70 crore net despite the expected weekday dip to 14.20 crore on day eight. It is only the third Hollywood film ever to pass 300 crore net here, after Avatar: The Way of Water and Avengers: Endgame, and it did it faster than either.

The number now worth watching is 391.40 crore, Avatar: The Way of Water's lifetime India net record for any Hollywood release. Eight days in, with a second weekend still to come and IMAX shows continuing to run near capacity, the gap has narrowed from a talking point to a genuine target.

The number now worth watching is 391.40 crore, Avatar: The Way of Water's lifetime India net record for any Hollywood release.

Globally the film crossed a billion dollars in its first week and became 2026's highest-grossing release worldwide within seven days of opening. Whether India's own record falls is now less a question of if than when.
