Ramayana's Trailer Is Out, and It Comes With a New India Distribution Partner

Ramayana's trailer has launched, closing a loop this desk has tracked for two weeks. The film was due to premiere its trailer at San Diego Comic-Con on 24 July, but producer Namit Malhotra pulled it at the last moment for a Sony Pictures Entertainment partnership instead, with no new date given at the time. The trailer is now out worldwide.

The confirmation came from an unusual place: Feed The Wolf, the Mumbai promo house formerly known as Film Ok Please, posted its congratulations on the launch and named the wider team, saying it had worked alongside the editorial teams at DNEG and Prime Focus Studios on the campaign. Along with the cast already known, Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Sunny Deol as Hanuman, the post added a distribution detail not previously reported here: India rights in the north sit with Dharma Productions, alongside Sony's global deal. The score is credited to Hans Zimmer and A. R. Rahman, with the soundtrack released through T-Series. The film was shot for IMAX and remains dated for Diwali 2026.

The credit itself is the smaller but more unusual story. Trailer and promo houses are almost never named publicly on a campaign this size; the credit line in a trade report typically stops at VFX and music. Feed The Wolf's willingness to say plainly who it worked alongside is the kind of detail that made this desk's Visual Promotion board worth building in the first place.
