Hours later producer Namit Malhotra confirmed on his own account that the trailer has in fact been pulled from tonight's Comic-Con plan. Malhotra posted a signed personal note confirming Ramayana has partnered with Sony Pictures Entertainment, and that the trailer will now launch globally at a later date rather than premiering at Comic-Con. He framed it as a distribution upgrade rather than a setback: a coordinated worldwide launch through a major studio partner, which he called a first for Indian cinema at this scale, comparable to how a major Hollywood tentpole rolls out.
No new trailer date has been announced. Part One's Diwali release, 6 November 2026, is not affected by anything in the note.
