Mirzapur: The Movie has crossed 193.43 crore worldwide in six days, according to Sacnilk, with India net collections at 137.65 crore against a gross of 164.43 crore. The film added 12.30 crore on Day 6, a 21 percent drop from Tuesday that reflects the usual weekday cooldown after a strong opening weekend, but keeps the film on pace to cross 200 crore worldwide within its first week.
The big-screen adaptation of the streaming franchise opened on September 4 with 25.75 crore net, the fourth-highest Hindi opening of the year, before building through the weekend to a peak of 36 crore on Sunday. That trajectory, an opening that grows into its first weekend rather than front-loading everything on Friday, is unusual for a film without a single marquee star carrying the poster alone.
Ticketing data backs up the word-of-mouth read. The film logged the highest first-Saturday sales among 2025-26 Hindi releases at 643,000 tickets on BookMyShow, and ranked sixth in first-weekend sales overall at 1.85 million. Weekday retention has held up too, with 358,000 tickets sold on Monday and 324,000 on Tuesday, among the best Monday-to-Tuesday holds the platform has tracked for a film in this collection range.
Directed by Gurmmeet Singh in his feature debut and written by Puneet Krishna, the film brings the ensemble cast of Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu Sharma, Jitendra Kumar and Ravi Kishan to theatres for the first time, translating a show built on serialised tension into a single sitting. With the worldwide total already closing in on 200 crore and the weekend still ahead, the film is positioned to be one of the more durable Hindi openers of the year rather than a front-loaded one-weekend event.
