Jana Nayagan Crosses 300 Crore Worldwide, Even With the Second Monday Falling Back to Earth
179.45 crore net in twelve days. A predictable weekday dip couldn't stop the milestone the second weekend had already secured.

Jana Nayagan has crossed 300 crore worldwide, reaching approximately 301.35 crore in twelve days on an India net of 179.45 crore and a gross of 209.35 crore. The second Monday brought the expected correction, just 3.85 crore against Sunday's 10.70 crore, but the milestone itself was already locked in by the strength of the second weekend that preceded it.
That weekend did real work. After a first week that fell in an almost unbroken line from a 42.70 crore opening day down to 3.55 crore, the second Saturday and Sunday delivered back-to-back growth for the first time since release, pulling the film comfortably past where its first-week trajectory alone would have left it.
300 crore worldwide is a real number for any Tamil release, and a meaningful one for a film whose commercial fate looked genuinely uncertain a week ago. What happens next depends on whether the third week finds any audience left, or whether this was the ceiling the second weekend was always going to buy.
