Varun Dhawan Takes His Daughter to Meet His Own Wax Statue in Singapore, Keeps Her Face Hidden as Always

Varun Dhawan posted a set of photos from a family vacation in Singapore with wife Natasha Dalal and their two-year-old daughter Lara, the highlight being a stop at Madame Tussauds where Lara saw her father's wax figure for the first time. He captioned the carousel “core memory unlocked,” and, as he has consistently done since Lara's birth, kept her face covered in every frame.

The set also included a photo alongside Karan Johar's own wax statue at the same museum, a nod to the director who cast Dhawan in his debut, Student of the Year, back in 2012. The rest of the carousel moved through a beach day, a stop at Universal Studios Singapore, and the kind of ordinary holiday photos that don't usually make it to an actor's grid, until a comment section full of colleagues made sure everyone saw them anyway.

Dhawan and Dalal, childhood acquaintances turned a 2021 Alibaug wedding, have kept Lara almost entirely out of public view since her birth in 2024. That the family's most recent trip surfaces at all is less about the vacation itself than the rare glimpse it offers of a couple that has otherwise drawn a hard line around their daughter's privacy.
