Whatever one makes of the box office numbers behind it, the car-and-couture content is a genre she has run better than almost anyone else in the industry, turning a single evening's outfit and a borrowed or owned supercar into a multi-platform news cycle every few weeks.

It is worth separating the two claims in that sentence: being seen with a car is not the same as owning it, and reports on Indian celebrity vehicle ownership are notoriously hard to verify independently. What is not in question is that the imagery works exactly as intended.
