Photos from the meeting, released by the UP Chief Minister's Office, showed the group posing together after what was described as a warm exchange of gratitude.

The timing placed the meeting squarely inside the film's most improbable stretch. Hanuman Ansh had crossed 150 crore net just days earlier, a figure that would have seemed absurd to predict when the devotional drama opened to ten lakh rupees in early August. A film built entirely on word of mouth, with no stars and barely any marketing budget, meeting a sitting Chief Minister is the kind of validation that no promotional campaign could have engineered.

The team has been candid about how unlikely this run has been. Chaturvedi has spoken publicly about the film being turned down by an OTT platform before release, a rejection he has since described in blunt terms, and a follow-up film is reportedly already being discussed if the current momentum holds. For a project that started as a passion effort based on the director's own spiritual memoir, a meeting at the Chief Minister's office is as clear a sign as any of how far it has travelled.
