Spider-Man Becomes Only the Second MCU Film to Enter India's 300 Crore Club

Spider-Man: Brand New Day crossed 300 crore net in India on its sixth day, closing at 303.25 crore on a gross of 362.61 crore. It is only the second Marvel Cinematic Universe release ever to reach that mark here, after Avengers: Endgame, and the third Hollywood film in any franchise after Avatar: The Way of Water.

The number that matters most now is roughly 70 crore, which is what separates the film from overtaking Endgame's lifetime India total outright. Given the pace so far, that gap looks unlikely to survive the week.

Globally the film has passed a billion dollars worldwide, the second-fastest title in box office history to reach that mark after Endgame itself. For a film that opened five days ago, being spoken about in the same sentence as the biggest crossover event in franchise history is a genuinely unusual position to be in this early.
