King Roars: Shah Rukh Khan's Christmas Date Comes With a Warning
"This Christmas, fear wears the crown." The announcement video trades SRK's usual charm for blood and menace, and the trade has noticed.

Shah Rukh Khan confirmed King's release date with an announcement built entirely on tone rather than plot: a torn white shirt, a face streaked in blood, and the line, this Christmas, fear wears the crown, over aerial shots of an island facility.
It is a deliberate swerve from the register that made Pathaan and Jawan into events. Where those campaigns sold spectacle and swagger, King's marketing so far has sold dread, positioning Shah Rukh Khan as a mercenary who has lost count of how many people he has killed.
The film reunites him with Siddharth Anand and adds Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and Suhana Khan's theatrical debut to a cast built for maximum event scale. 24 December remains the date, in the corridor that has delivered some of the biggest openings of Shah Rukh Khan's career.
