The film wrapped its fourth weekend at roughly 27 crore for that stretch alone, and trade reports have described its fourth Monday as the second-highest of the year for that specific day of a run, a marker usually reserved for major star vehicles holding strong, not a spiritual drama with no big names in its cast. Total India gross now stands at 47.33 crore against net collections of 40.13 crore, figures that would have seemed implausible for this film in its first week.

There's no single explanation on record for the turnaround beyond word-of-mouth building slower than usual for its specific audience. What's clear from the numbers themselves is that Hanuman Ansh has spent a month doing the opposite of what most releases do, and is still climbing as September opens.
