Dhamaal 4 is now streaming on Netflix, having made its digital premiere on September 4, exactly eight weeks after its July 10 theatrical release. The eight-week window has become the working standard for mid-budget Hindi comedies moving from cinemas to streaming, long enough to protect the theatrical tail without letting piracy eat into the platform's exclusivity.

The film closed its theatrical run with a worldwide total of roughly 224.57 crore, made up of about 177.81 crore net in India and close to 30 crore from overseas markets, ranking it among Ajay Devgn's higher-grossing releases. It opened to 13.75 crore on day one and built to a 64.35 crore opening weekend, a strong start for a franchise entry with no single breakout star driving the marketing.

The fourth installment keeps the series' familiar formula: a chaotic treasure hunt, this time centred on a fortune tied to a character named Shaitaan Singh, kicked off when a dying man reveals a clue about its location. Directed by Indra Kumar, it brings back Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi and Jaaved Jaaferi, with Ravi Kishan, Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Shaikh and Anjali Anand rounding out the cast.

Reviews were mixed through the theatrical run, with critics split on whether the humour landed consistently across the film's runtime, some calling it a decent family entertainer despite flat stretches, others finding the writing tedious in parts. That split didn't stop the box office momentum, and the film's arrival on Netflix now gives audiences who skipped the cinema run a chance to judge the treasure hunt for themselves. Neither Netflix nor the studio has disclosed the value of the streaming deal itself.
