Bandar and Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata Are Both Confirmed for Zee5 in August, but Neither Has a Date Yet

Zee5 has confirmed both Bandar and Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata for its August 2026 slate, alongside titles including Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai and Pooja Meri Jaan. Neither film has an announced streaming date yet; both are simply listed as expected sometime this month, which is as far as any outlet has been willing to go.

That gap between confirmation and a real date is worth sitting with rather than guessing at, so we're not publishing one until Zee5 does. What we can say with confidence: Bandar closed its theatrical run at 4.18 crore net against a reported 15 crore budget, a clear commercial flop despite widely praised work from Bobby Deol and a director, Anurag Kashyap, who later disowned the theatrical cut entirely. Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata fared similarly, closing near 5.50 crore net on the same reported budget, despite positive reviews for its 26/11 hospital-staff drama.

Both are examples of a pattern that's become common this year: a small theatrical release with genuine critical support and no commercial path finds its real audience on a streaming platform weeks later. We'll update this the moment either platform confirms an actual date.
