Ramayana: Part One is dated for Diwali, 6 November 2026, released worldwide in IMAX.

Reports suggest the makers have discussed moving a week ahead of the festival, on the reasoning that an earlier start lets word of mouth build into the holiday rather than exhausting it at the peak. Distribution negotiations are said to be underway.
