Shreya Kalra Just Won Lock Upp, and the Losing Side Isn't Being Quiet About It

One crore rupees, seven votes, and a finale that was already messy before the winner was even announced.

Shreya Kalra walked away from Lock Upp Season 2 with the trophy, the one crore rupee prize, and the kind of narrow margin that keeps a fandom arguing for days: seven votes over Shivangi Joshi, announced live by hosts Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan. Ram Kapoor, Yogesh Rawat and Shilpa Shinde rounded out the top five, close enough behind that this finale genuinely could have gone another way.

The real story isn't the win, it's what happened right before it. In the closing week, Shilpa Shinde made pointed personal remarks about Shivangi Joshi during an on-camera conversation with Kalra, and the clip did exactly what a clip like that does on a finale week: it split the fandom straight down the middle, with one half convinced it cost Shivangi the win and the other half insisting the numbers were always going to land where they landed.

Kalra hasn't addressed the controversy directly since the win, choosing instead to let the trophy speak. Whether that silence holds through the press round that always follows a Lock Upp finale is the next thing worth watching.
